Release of Issabel 5: Innovation and Advancement in Unified Communications

FLORIDA, April 30th, 2024 – Issabel, the Unified Communications and Contact Center platform, announces the release of Issabel 5. This new version is based on Rocky Linux 8.8, providing a solid foundation for continuous updates and support via ‘yum update’. Users now have the option to choose between Asterisk 16 and 18, capitalizing on the latest improvements in stability and communication features.

Issabel has been a cornerstone in the development of accessible and robust unified communication solutions. With the release of Issabel 5, the platform reinvents itself to meet modern challenges.

The user interface in the PBX configuration has been completely redesigned to offer a cleaner and more modern environment that significantly enhances user experience. Another notable improvement is the generation of audio using various text-to-speech engines, enriching the customization of communications.

For video conferencing, Issabel has integrated Mirotalk, providing a robust and scalable solution for online meetings. Additionally, the platform has been upgraded to the latest version of RoundCube webmail, enhancing usability and security for email management.

In terms of security and management, Issabel 5 has introduced even more detailed auditing, ensuring greater transparency and control over business communications. The version also includes numerous bug fixes and optimizations, ensuring superior performance and stability.

Leveraging the release of Issabel 5, we also want to anticipate the soon-to-be-presented new omnichannel contact center.
